Every single year until elementary school basically, and then, middle to end of elementary school, we moved to Norwich and stayed in Norwich for the remainder of the time. It was pretty much just like, year to year, we moved. It was - it was totally random. My mom moved basically wherever there was work. We moved where family was - excuse me. We… yeah, we sort of moved all over.

I could think of a lot of really positive fun memories. But as like a kid, growing up? Probably the first time I held a chicken. Which was very foreign to me. Like I didn’t grow up with animals or anything like that. But in my late teens, I met someone that had chickens and was like, “hey, you wanna hold it?” Like sure! There’s a picture of me holding this chicken, which is blind in one side. [laughs] But yeah, it was a very unique experience for me and it always left an impact.

I love going on hikes. I really enjoy just seeing the landscapes in Chenango County. Now I’ve got a family so I try and bring them out as well. But yeah, there’s a lot to enjoy when it comes to the outdoors in this area. So I tend to go to either Bowman Lake quite a bit or the quarry. Either one of those two, it’s great. When I go to the quarry, my kids like to run up ahead a little bit and kind of like adventure on their own even and then wait for us to catch up. So it’s fun. Yeah, those are - either one of those two spots. But I think Bowman Lake is absolutely beautiful.

So if I could do it more, I would enjoy it more. I enjoy shooting a lot. Like target practice, that sort of thing; I don’t really hunt. But yeah, anytime I can get friends together and we can go out and do that it’s fun. Any time we can go camping, that’s enjoyable. Yeah, any of that kind of stuff.

So… recently I’ve been going to On Common Grounds in Greene, which has been absolutely amazing. Their soup’s been fantastic. When I was in Norwich more, I would go to Nina’s almost every single day… I’m trying to think of some other great spots. The Ontario, used to go there for soup quite a bit. But nowadays, it’s On Common Grounds in Greene; it’s been amazing.
